SDG Pioneer

Organized by the United Nations Global Compact the competition SDG Pioneer has been held annually since 2016 and in Georgia since 2019. The competition reveals young leaders who work in the business sector and through their initiatives contribute to the responsible business activities and the sustainable development of the country.

In 2019, for the first time SDG Pioneer was identified and title was awarded to Maya Kobalia, Head of Crystal’s Environmental and Social (E&S) Department.

In 2020, the competition was held in Georgia for the second time. The winner of the local round of the competition was Valeri Chekheria, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Adjara Group.
