Web Summit 2025

From February 23 to 26, Salome Zurabishvili, Executive Director of UN Global Compact Network Georgia, and Beka Aleksishvili, Business Relations and Partnership Projects Manager, represented UN Global Compact Network Georgia at Web Summit 2025 in Doha, where the UN Global Compact was honored to be an Impact Partner of the event.

As part of the Summit, our team, alongside representatives from the UN Global Compact and Country Networks, engaged with private sector leaders at the UN Global Compact Booth, fostering discussions on the role of responsible business in shaping a sustainable future.

A key highlight was the session on “AI and Technology for Sustainability: Global and Regional Trends,” co-hosted by the UN Global Compact and PwC on February 24. The session explored how AI and emerging technologies can drive progress on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with PwC presenting insights from their research on trends in the Middle East and Europe.
