Handicraft produces a product that allows parents to spend more time with their children. The main goal of the company in creating this product is to create a work environment for women that will allow them to develop and establish themselves in the job market, to be able to acquire or develop their own profession in the field of sewing.

Why is it important?

The company significantly contributes to the employment of women and their professional development in a comfortable environment for them. Although the percentage of employed women has increased significantly in recent years, women’s employment and professional development difficulties remain a problem. The activity of the company Handicraft is aimed at eliminating this problem, the company is focused on employing female employees and at the same time promoting their development.

SDG 4 Quality education

Handicraft activities respond to the fourth goal of sustainable development and enable women to acquire knowledge that becomes their source of income. Handicraft provides sewing training for women and then employs them in the same field.

SDG 5 Gender equality

Also, the goal of handicraft, which is to employ more women, echoes gender equality. Every employee in the company is a woman. The main goal of Handicraft by 2021, is to expand production and employ an additional 3 female employees.
