The first Action Platform meeting of the year: Business Integrity and Collective Action Against Corruption

On January 30, 2026, the first Action Platform meeting of the year was held, organized by the UN Global Compact Network Georgia, with the theme “Business Integrity and Collective Action Against Corruption.”

At the meeting, the business sector was welcomed with opening remarks by Maya Giorgadze, Head of the Business Integrity stream of the UN Global Compact Network Georgia.

The main speakers of the Action Platform were Nino Kvantrishvili, Deputy Director of the UN Global Compact Network Georgia, who spoke about reporting mechanisms and Aligning Integrity Systems with ESG Expectations; Nikoloz Khundzakishvili, Corporate Affairs Director of EFES Georgia, who addressed whistleblowing mechanisms and best practices for third-party due diligence; and Nutsa Tsnobiladze, the ESG Lead of Silknet, who spoke about Board & Senior Management Oversight of Integrity. In closing, Maya Giorgadze discussed designing effective codes of Conduct and outlined plans related to the platform.

The Action Platform Business Integrity and Collective Action Against Corruption is held quarterly and aims to strengthen the private sector in the areas of business integrity and ethics. The January 30 meeting was attended by representatives of more than 20 UN Global Compact member companies.
