Awareness of viewers / media on corporate responsibility and existing best business practices has increased as a result of the creation of a new section on leading business programs (Public Broadcaster, TV Pirveli).

Facilitated more than 10 partnership projects involving business and NGOs.

The new Board and Chairman of the Board of the Global Compact Network Georgia has been elected.

The Corporate Responsibility Award 2020 was held, which was marked by a significant increase in competitive applications compared to previous years. The winners of the competition were revealed in seven categories.

Collaborated with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) to help small and medium-sized enterprises develop eco-innovative approaches and take care to reduce their negative impact on the environment.

Collaborated with USAID’s ACCESS program to promote cross-sectoral partnerships with a sustainable development agenda.

Studies were conducted: Impact of COVID 19 on the business sector in Georgia; Contribution of the civil sector to the implementation of sustainable development goals; The contribution of the private sector in achieving the goals of sustainable development.

The GCNG facilitated a study visit to Sweden and Denmark by the Georgian government, business, media and local organizations; During the visit, business relations were established with more than 30 representatives of business, international organizations and the executive branch of these countries.

A Business Contribution Report on the Sustainable Development Agenda has been prepared, attached to the Government’s Voluntary National Review and posted on the UN website.
