Business Integrity Action Platform meeting
On September 12, 2025, the UN Global Compact Network Georgia, in partnership with Cellfie Mobile, hosted its quarterly Business Integrity Action Platform meeting.
Nino Kvantrishvili, Deputy Executive Director of UN Global Compact Network Georgia, opened the event, emphasizing the platform’s importance in promoting transparent and ethical business practices within the business sector. The keynote speaker was Ia Mameishvili, Chief Compliance Officer at Cellfie Mobile, who provided an extensive overview of compliance standards. She underlined that effective compliance programs enable organizations to identify, prevent, and mitigate legal and ethical risks while ensuring regulatory adherence, protecting reputation, and enhancing competitiveness. The meeting also included an in-depth discussion of the employee onboarding process through the lens of compliance.
The meeting was moderated by Maya Giorgadze, Head of Business Integrity at UN Global Compact Network Georgia, who summarized the discussions, highlighted the key takeaways, and spoke about the platform’s plans and the upcoming activities scheduled this year to strengthen business integrity both locally and globally.
The meeting was attended by representatives of more than 20 companies participating in the UN Global Compact.
