Partnership Forum 2023

On November 29, the second partnership forum took place at the Pullman Tbilisi Axis Towers Hotel. It was organized by the United Nations Global Compact Network Georgia and supported by the USAID Civil Society Engagement Program.

Salome Zurabishvili, the executive director of the UN Global Compact Network Georgia, and Boris Strecansky, domestic resource mobilization advisor of the USAID Civil Society Engagement Program, welcomed the attendees with opening remarks.

The event brought together representatives from civil society organizations and the business sector, providing a platform for organizations to showcase their ideas and explore potential collaborations with the business community.

During the forum, six civil society organizations delivered presentations on their activities and showcased implemented projects.

In two years, the network has worked with more than 90 civil society organizations, resulting in more than 30 partnerships. The financial and technical assistance provided by the business sector to civil society organizations amounts to more than 213,000 GEL. Through this event, UN Global Compact Network Georgia joined the global “Giving Tuesday” campaign.
