BP has been operating in Georgia for 25 years. The company currently employs 240 people and has more than 1,000 contractors. The company, together with its partners, has invested $ 4 billion in energy and sustainable development projects.
Every day, 1% of the world’s hydrocarbons pass to the international market through Georgia.
The first example of a successful operation is the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline and the Supsa terminal, which has been supplying 100,000 barrels of oil per day to the world market since 1990.
In early 2000, the company began work on 2 major oil and gas pipeline projects. Both the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline and the South Caucasus gas pipeline supply international markets with energy resources.

Priorities:
The company’s priorities are defined based on the Sustainable Development Goals: Eliminate Poverty, Gender Equality, health and well-being, promotion of quality education, Affordable and Clean Energy, decent working conditions, development of infrastructure projects, climate change actions, and multisectoral cooperation.

Decision-making on partnership projects:
The company is announcing a call for proposals for sustainable development projects. Sponsorship projects are accepted and reviewed in any format without competition.
