EU Integration Action Platform – 1st Meeting

On April 3, the UN Global Compact Network Georgia held its first meeting within the EU Integration Action Platform.

During the meeting, attendees deliberated on several critical topics, including the recent EU regulations on corporate sustainability and its impact on the Georgian business sector, as well as the challenges businesses face on the path to European integration. Also, participants discussed the requirements and expectations of the action platform.

By leveraging UNGCNG, its members’, stakeholders’, and partners’ collective expertise and resources, the action platform can be pivotal in accelerating the adoption of sustainable practices in Georgia’s business sector. It helps meet EU standards and foster a sustainable and competitive business environment aligned with global expectations.
