The representatives of the UNGCNG learned about the specifics of operations at the “Polyvim”,

Salome Zurabishvili, Executive Director of the UNGCNG, and Rati Zautashvili, Head of the Business Relations, visited the “Polyvim” enterprise in Rustavi, where they learned about the specifics of operations on the site.

“Polyvim” collects and separates used plastic bottles, removes labels and caps. As a result of washing, crushing, and other industrial processes, PET bottle waste is converted into PET flakes. Using recycled polymers, including PET bottles, benefits the environment and citizens’  daily lives.

“Polyvim” won the Corporate Responsibility Award 2022 under the SDG 12: Sustainable Consumption and Production category with its project, “Green Revolution.”.
