Meeting with Sida Board – Swedish Development Agency

On May 4, the Swedish Embassy in Georgia organized a meeting with the members of the Governing Board of the Swedish Development Agency (Sida) who were visiting Georgia.

In the first part of the event, the Board members became acquainted with the activities of the UN Global Compact Georgia Network and the progress achieved in various directions with the support of the Swedish government. During the panel discussion, the representatives of the UNGCNG members, TBC Bank, Crystal, Efes Georgia, and Sapari, spoke about their experience of cooperation with the UNGCNG, the successes achieved in terms of sustainability, and the current challenges.

The second part of the meeting was devoted to the sustainable finance taxonomy and the innovations introduced in this direction, the experience and challenges of the financial sector.
