Biodiesel Georgia

In 2018, “Biodiesel Georgia LLC”, first time in Georgia and in the whole region of the South Caucasus, implemented innovative technology, launched a biodiesel plant and started production of clean, renewable, environmentally friendly fuel – biodiesel www.biodiesel.ge. Since then the plant has been operating successfully, constantly increasing production.

The plant uses both the new and the secondary (used) cooking oil as raw materials for biodiesel production. Our biodiesel plant has already collected and processed almost a million liters of used cooking oil and produced more than 500 tons of clean, eco-friendly fuel – biodiesel and consequently saved more than one thousand tons of CO₂ from being released into the atmosphere. In addition, Biodiesel Georgia LLC has given new impulse to agribusiness development and diversification in our country. We have cultivated 45 hectares in Marneuli and Sagarejo municipalities in Eastern Georgia under Rapeseed (Lat.: Brassica napus), the oil of which is an excellent feedstock for biodiesel production and its oil cake is used for livestock, thus our company has supported further development and diversification of agribusiness in Georgia too.
