JSC MARANI

JSC MARANI (2017) started in 2016 as “Marani Farm” as a poplar nursery Farm and was presented under the  name of Sustain Energy Denmark. The nursery farm is located in Western Georgia.In 2017 JSC MARANI was officially established. Company cultivates a land of 280 ha for nursery and for  plantation. Company chose Western Georgia because it is characterized by humid subtropical climate, which  results in faster plant growth than in other parts of the country. Due to the abundance of natural waters, the  soil in western Georgia is very fertile, so it is expected that the poplar trees planted here will grow faster than  anywhere else.

JSC Marani pioneered to create the Caucasus first Hybrid Poplar Ecosystem project, backed by Georgian  government support to develop fast growing, high energy efficiency Hybrid Poplar tree plantation and nursery.
