The 3rd module of the Target Gender Equality accelerator program – 31.10.2024

The UN Global Compact Network Georgia organized the third module of the Target Gender Equality accelerator program – Programs & Initiatives. 

Within the framework of the session, the Women’s Empowerment Principles were reviewed, aiming to improve gender equality and empower women in the workplace, employment market, and society.

The program participants had the opportunity to discuss with their colleagues the initiatives and programs aimed at women’s empowerment that are being implemented in their companies.

Target Gender Equality is an accelerator programme for companies participating in the United Nations Global Compact. It aims to deepen their implementation of the Women’s Empowerment Principles and strengthen their contribution to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 5.5, which calls for women’s full participation and equal opportunities for leadership by 2030, as well as SDG 8.5, which aims to achieve equal pay for work of equal value by 2030.
