Leaders Summit in NY – Panel: Raising the Bar on Leadership amidst crisis
Salome Zurabishvili moderated a session on “Raising the Bar on Leadership amidst crisis” at the Leaders Summit.
On September 19, at the UN Global Compact Leader`s Summit, the Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Network Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, moderated one of the opening plenary sessions, “Raising the Bar on Leadership Amidst Crisis.
The panel discussion brought together business leaders across C-suite functions to share their insights on navigating converging crises, including escalating conflicts, the war in Ukraine, economic instability, food and energy shortages, and climate change.
Sandra Wu – Chairperson and CEO of Kokusai Kogyo; Maxim Timchenko – CEO of the Ukrainian energy company, DTEK; Eunice Heath – Chief Sustainability Officer at CRH, an Ireland-based building materials company and Megan Beauregard – Chief Legal Officer at Enel North America, an energy company, elaborated on how they are navigating through those crises while keeping their sustainability commitments on track.
During the Leaders’ Summit, Deputy CEO of the Bank of Georgia, Nutsa Gogilashvili, and PR and CSR Manager of MFI MBC, Gvantsa Patsatsia, participated in the panel discussions as speakers.
The UN Global Compact Network Georgia organized the working visit with support from the Swedish Government.
