Gender Equality Peer Learning Group Meeting
The UN Global Compact Network Georgia organized a Gender Equality Peer Learning Group meeting on Gender-Responsive Procurement. The session was led by Anna Tsagareli – Procurement and Asset Management Assistant, Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office. Gender-responsive procurement is about companies leveraging their purchasing policies and practices to promote gender equality and support social and economic progress through gender-responsive measures at all stages and tiers of procurement and supply chain.
Peer Learning Groups at the UN Global Compact Network Georgia create a safe space for companies to share their best practices and challenges on critical sustainability issues with like-minded professionals.
The meeting was held with the support of the Swedish government.
