Roundtable Discussion – Advancing Sustainability: A Focus on Sustainable Finance

On September 21, a roundtable discussion, „Advancing Sustainability: A Focus on Sustainable Finance,“ was held at the UN Global Compact Office. The event was organized by the UN Global Compact Network Georgia, the UN Global Compact Office, and the Permanent Mission of Georgia to the United Nations.

Douglas Peterson, the President and Chief Executive Officer at S&P Global, provided interesting insights into the latest trends in sustainable investing, impact investing, and sustainable finance influence on market dynamics, including the rise of green bonds, ESG indices, and the evolving investor landscape.

The UN Global Compact Network Georgia organized the working visit with support from the Swedish Government.
