CS Academy: European regulations Concerning Corporate Sustainability

Certificate course for representatives of SMEs continues at the Corporate Sustainability Academy of the UN Global Compact Network Georgia. On February 29, discussions focused on European regulations concerning corporate sustainability and their implications for the Georgian business sector.

The meeting covered the European Union’s corporate sustainability strategy and policy framework, addressing significant legal acts like the European Green Deal, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, EU deforestation regulation, tax exemption regulation, and more. The impact of these documents on the Georgian private sector was also discussed.
