Workshop – Eco-innovation Landscape in the Republic of Moldova

On March 30, within the final national workshop “Eco-innovation Landscape in the Republic of Moldova”, a panel discussion on eco-innovation prospects was conducted. Senior Manager of Sustainability and Partnerships of the UN Global Compact Network Georgia (UN GCNG), Nino Kvantrishvili presented the work that has been undertaken with eight SMEs in Georgia to help them adopt the eco-innovation approach in their management systems and operations, while also discussing key challenges, opportunities, and the potential implications of applying the eco-innovation approach among other SMEs in the country.

Within the framework of the EU-funded “EU4Environment” programme, UN Global Compact Network Georgia, in cooperation with the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), implemented a project to promote eco-innovative approaches in small and medium-sized enterprises in Georgia.
