Salome Zurabishvili was elected as a Board member of the UNGC and a Co-Chair of the GNC

Salome Zurabishvili, Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Network Georgia, was elected as a member of the United Nations Global Compact Board and a Co-Chair of the Global Network Council (GNC).

The GNC members include all Local Network Executive Directors chairing the Regional Network Councils, senior representatives of the UN Global Compact Office (GCO), and the Foundation for the Global Compact. United Nations Global Compact Board consists of 21 members representing the United Nations, multinational enterprises, and international organizations. Among them are the Secretary General of the United Nations, the Secretary-General of the International Organization of Employers (IOE), the Chair of Transparency International, the Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Executive Chairman & Group CEO of Natura & Co, the Chairman & CEO, of Schneider Electric and other representatives of international organizations and enterprises.
